Kia began her career in the beauty industry in 2006 where she completed her certification in Makeup Artistry from Brio Academy of Cosmetology and soon after worked at major make-up retail stores like Bare Minerals and Sephora and eventually moved on to booking private events like weddings and photo shoots. She completed her certification in Esthetics from Brio Academy of Cosmetology in 2011. There, she studied facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, body treatments, waxing and manicure/pedicure.  In 2013, she worked for a waxing facility where she focused only on waxing and became well known for her gentle touch and painless, yet thorough Brazilian waxing techniques.

At Waxed, Skincare & Beauty Lounge, Kia combined her passion for makeup artistry and skincare. Her focus is on educating her clients and providing the best customer care and experience like no other. Her philosophy is that everyone should have great skin and quality spa treatments without breaking the bank. Her prices are reasonable so that regular maintenance can be achieved. She specializes in Brazilian/Manzilian waxing and customized facial treatments.

​We offer package pricing for all services. Whether your visits are for monthly maintenance or rest & relaxation every 6 to 8 weeks, we have a VIP Pass that will work for your needs. You can save more than to 20% on your services.

Children

Our spa suite is sized for you and your esthetician and not safe for children. If it is necessary to have your child with you, please ensure that they can sit and not come near the equipment as there are sharp objects and hot surfaces.

Services

All services need to be booked online and paid for in advance with a credit card. 24 hours notice is required to cancel/reschedule your appointment. Money will be refunded or applied to new appointment. Cancellations within 24 hrs and no call no shows will not be refunded. 

Packages

We are unable to process returns or reimburse for payments on any packages that were purchased.

Late Policy

Please arrive early for your appointment so that you have time to park and use the bathroom. Due to scheduling commitments to other clients’ schedules, if you are late, the following may occur:

  • you may receive a reduction in treatment time

  • we may take the client who's appointment is scheduled after yours

  • we may need to reschedule your appointment if your are late. 

In all of these cases, you will be charged the full service amount or your VIP PASS will be used​. Repeat offenders will need to prepay in order to reserve a reservation.

 
Cancellation/No Show Policy

We understand that sometimes extraordinary circumstances are unavoidable and you may need to change your schedule. We kindly ask that you give us 24 hours notice if you need to cancel your appointment. Cancellations and “no shows” leave gaps in our schedules that cannot be filled without timely notice. This notification courtesy enables us to schedule another client and, in turn, maintains a higher availability of services for you as well as others. Cancellations within 24 hours or “no shows” are subject to a charge in the amount of the full service.

See below (computer only) to find and fill out intake forms for your appointment. Please inform us of any medical conditions, metal pins, plates, or dental work, if you are taking medication or if you are pregnant for every appointment.
